1. Fics must feature one Tokio Hotel member as the main character and/or at least one Tokio Hotel member in the main pairing. Side pairings are allowed. 2. Fics must be viewable by everyone. For example, fics posted solely at sites like Livejournal community Tokio Hotel Slash will not be approved for nomination because not everyone can view those fics. (If you still want to nominate a fic that isn‘t available to everyone for viewing, suggest to the author that they create a user account at Tokio Hotel Fiction, a free fan fiction archive.) 3. Fics must be written in English. If they are originally written in another language, they must be translated into English in order for them to be nominated. 4. The author of a nominated fic must have a valid e-mail address. All authors will be contacted. 5. Do no nominate your own story. 6. Authors may have up to three fics nominated per round. Authors may have each of their fics nominated in up to three categories. Authors may have only one fic nominated per category. (If a fic is nominated more times or for more categories than is allowed, the author will be contacted so that they can choose which fics they would like nominated.)* 7. Rule number six does not apply to collaboration fics. Collaboration fics may also be nominated up to three times, in up to three categories, one per category, but they do not take the place of fics written by the author by himself/herself.* 8. Fics may not be nominated in a category they have already won.* 9. Fics may not be nominated in the same category twice in a row, even if they haven’t won. They may only be nominated every other round in the same category.* 10. If a category does not have at least five fics nominated within the nomination period, it will be discarded for that round. 11. Only 30 fics may be nominated in a category at one time. Nominating will be closed for categories that are filled before the nominating deadline. 12. You may only nominate one fic per category per day. If you try to do more, your submission will be discarded 13. You do not have to nominate a fic in every category when filling out the nomination form. Only one is required. 14. Bushido wears the Little Red Hot Pants the best. *Readers' Choice submissions may be duplicated every round. **WIPs can be nominated in any category, but only WIPs can be nominated in the 'Work In Progress' category. ***Series may only be nominated in the 'Series' category. ****Series nominated are separate from the three fics per author limit, however, only one series per author may be nominated per round. |
